Instructional Methodology
The instructional methodology in the MPH program at the AUSPH is that of a hybrid nature – that is, both online distance education (through Aristotle e-Learning) and weekly onsite seminars with the Professor (for the onsite program). Aristotle University has selected and partnered with the most premier learning management system available for its students and Faculty. Scholar360 is the next-generation learner management system which works closely with the Aristotle University to offer unparalleled customization, flexibility and service so that we can deliver cutting-edge online programs to out students in the classroom and across the globe. Aristotle University is the first university in the State of California to implement Scholar360, and it was the first law school in the nation to incorporate Scholar360 as its exclusive learner management system.′′
Aristotle's Scholar360 learner management system empowers students, faculty, and administrators through its unique ability of creating not just a Learner Management System, but a Social Networking System as well. In this way, our students and Faculty feel connected, and aware of their role in the larger academic and social community. By Scholar360’s unique ability to permit students and Faculty, either independently or in concert, to create various social digital networks and communities, students actively engage in their education because they feel “connected” to Faculty - and to Peers as well.
Attendance
Attendance is mandatory for all weekly educational onsite Seminars which are conducted by an instructing Professor. A minimum of eighty percent (80%) attendance is required, otherwise the student will be dropped from the course. Under emergency medical circumstances, where a student leaves class early due to an illness or emergency, the student must follow-up their absence or early departure by submitting an Excused Absence Form available from Aristotle University.

Honors
Grade designations for all courses in the MPH program, commensurate with weighting and grade points for all courses taken at the AUSPH shall be as follows >>>>>
For classes with grade designations of P/F or CR/NC, the student will be given credit for courses successfully completed but his or her grade point average will not be affected. Similarly, a “Fail” grade or “F” will be treated as a “no credit” or “NC” such that neither grade will be considered when calculating a student’s total grade point average. A grade of “W” or “Withdrawal” means that a student withdrew from a course and accordingly no credit or grade points will be granted. Recorded grades will not be changed unless it is determined by the Administration that there was a clear case of error.
